On 23 October 2014 the Department of Health published its response to the consultation on the guidance and regulations underpinning Part 1 of the Care Act 2014. The proposed final regulations, including the Care and Support (Charging and Assessment of Resources) Regulations 2014, are annexed to the response. Several sets of these regulations were laid before Parliament on 27 October 2014. The statutory guidance to support the implementation of Part One of the Care Act 2014 in 2015/16 was also published on 23 October 2014.
